We typically follow the [Uber Go Style Guide](https://github.com/uber-go/guide/blob/master/style.md) as our north star as the guide is comprehensive but not overburdening, easy to read and pretty good. Here's how our codebase differs:

* Gitpod uses `xerrors` for error wrapping instead of `pkg/errors`
