Ona Core is shutting down on October 31, 2026

What Ona Core customers need to do before October 31

Earlier this year, we wrote about the last year of localhost. We’ve spent years betting that software development would move to the cloud. Background agents are making it happen, and we joined OpenAI to take that work further with Codex.

Unfortunately, that means we will be winding down Ona Cloud on October 31, 2026. Please save any code and data you want to keep before then. Current subscribers will be receiving an email with a more detail. New signups have already closed.

If you loved Ona, you can start building with Codex Cloud today, using your ChatGPT account.

We’ve loved building Ona with you, thank you for being part of that journey. We’re excited to show you what we build next.
